Collaboration Features Original Content Series Showcasing 20 Global Parity Athletes; Over 1,100 Professional Women Athletes to Gain Access to Development Tools

New York, NY, March 11, 2025 – Parity, a Group 1001 company and the premier platform for professional women athlete partnerships, today announced a collaboration with LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network. LinkedIn will work alongside Parity to deliver impactful career development programs, athlete sponsorship initiatives, and digital integration projects aimed at supporting over 1,100 professional women athletes in Parity’s network.

Research conducted by Parity in 2024 highlights the pressing challenges women athletes face: 74% work a second job outside of playing their sport, and one in four works full-time year-round. Additionally, 93% report feeling stressed about finances, with 64% having considered giving up their sport due to financial pressures. Parity’s partnership with LinkedIn will help foster environments where women athletes can thrive both financially and professionally.

LinkedIn and Parity will create resources that help athletes enhance their professional skills and networks, including co-hosted webinars and targeted tools to help athletes maximize their professional opportunities. Parity athletes will share their unique stories and videos on LinkedIn and Instagram highlighting insights and shared experiences that spark conversation around navigating their career journeys. Among the voices is 2x Olympian Naya Tapper who shares her journey in the most recent issue of LinkedIn's In The Loop Newsletter.

"Parity’s vision is to close the gender income gap in sports and create pathways for lasting success," says Parity CEO Leela Srinivasan. "Many women athletes still face the challenge of balancing other jobs alongside demanding training schedules, often without access to the professional resources they need. By providing career development tools and amplifying their voices on digital platforms, this partnership with LinkedIn will empower women in sports to build meaningful professional paths and achieve sustained success well beyond their athletic careers."
