Dr. Seun Adigun, a first-generation Nigerian-American from Chicago, is both an accomplished athlete and academic. She transitioned from a walk-on to a scholarship athlete in track and field at the University of Houston, later coaching there before pursuing advanced studies aimed at revolutionizing sports medicine. A two-time Olympian, Dr. Seun made history by competing in both the Summer and Winter Olympics and founding the first African bobsled team to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Her academic credentials include degrees in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise & Health Sciences, Human Biology, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Now, as a sports chiropractor and biomechanist in Houston, Texas, she treats professional athletes across various sports and leads Extra Wellness Center, LLC.
